I stopped by Geno’s Cheesesteaks when I was back home in Philly last week for my sister’s wedding. I was too stuffed to eat a cheesesteak but I did manage to gobble up an order of yummy cheese fries. This place is wild and it’s been featured on the Food Network and they pride themselves on their offensive “when ordering speak english” sign that is taped on the window. Well, it’s Philly, not San Francisco aka land of the politically correct… oops, have I become “one of them?” Well, we all know that it is offensive, but for me, it’s definitely not offensive enough to hold me back from the fried goodness calling my name on the other side of that sliding glass window. What have I become?
These cheese fries RULE. They are completely tossed around in cheezwiz yet still retain a crunch!! They are very crispy shoestring fries and you definitely want to eat them with a fork. Worth every penny, I love Geno’s!
