I would rather go on a hunger strike than have to eat the hot ham and cheese sandwich from Seller’s Market ever again. It fares way better in the pics than it does in my fryhole, that’s for sure. This sandwich and side salad do look great and mighty tasty on their little white plate, but the truth is that it’s completely bland, the ham isn’t hot (and there were only 2 extremely thin slices of it) and the cheese isn’t completely melted. How can you call this hot ham and cheese? I’m sorry, but I arrived at an off peak lunch hour and was the only person who ordered food. Could they not toast it a little more and make sure the cheese was melted?
…Yes, I appreciate that Sellers Markets is eco friendly and sustainable and composts and recycles and uses spudware and biodegradable cups, etc (who doesn’t in SF these days tho?) but I am not going to use all of that as an excuse to give my hot ham and cheese sandy a better fry rating than it deserves (2 fries).
Ooooh I’m a little bitter…. and also frustrated because I went to Seller’s Market about a year ago when it opened to try the Hot Ham and Cheese and it was exactly the same. Today I was so hungry that i decided to give them another go… but my experience has turned out to be equally as disappointing. I will never order this sandwich again from this place! Oh and FYI, for some reason all of this (below) plus a soda cost me $11.18 big ones… go figure!
In this instance, do not judge a book by its cover.

LOL. great write-up. I’ve been to Seller’s Market maybe twice. Once I got this sandwich and my experience was dead on to the one you just described… warmish ham and half melted cheese. very disappointing.
