Peet’s: Ham & Swiss Croissant

Submitted by Kira on Wednesday, 10 December 20083 Comments

I admit that Peet’s Ham and Cheese Croissant is sometimes my personal vice.  It’s soooo good, but soooo bad for me.  You can get these ham and cheese croissants at a bunch of places, but I always go to Peet’s.  And then I microwave it on a paper towel for 27 seconds.

After the croissant is microwaved and piping hot, I eat it very swiftly… taking large bites and chewing fast to avoid the heat and hot cheese, usually finishing it in about 9-12 bites (3 across, 3 or 4 down).

This croissant is not the same if you eat it at room temperature, in fact I probably wouldn’t even get it if I didn’t have access to a microwave.  Warming it up transforms it into a hot ham and cheese sandwich with a flakey buttery crust, yummers!

The remains of my wonderful, hammy, fattening, greasy croissant.
